Tyre regrooving Iron
anyone have one or know where one can be had.

don't know if this is the sort of thing you're after, I used one a mate had years ago but it was not much bigger then a soldering iron and seriously slow when it cooled too much...

most forklift mechanics seem to carry them for re grooving solid tyres, maybe ask one of them where they get em from

get a copy of "owner driver" or any other truck magazine they will have adds for people who will do this for you and places you can buy an iron

i was lookin around on the net not to long ago

seems they are around $350 i thikn that was the price

most rally shops online had them

most companys the sell tyre repair gear sell them. try rema tiptop thier number is in the phone book.

I have one , but the cutter is broken from bbeing abused because the thing is so slow and dang hard to use :oops:

You will find a lot of tire places that fit truck tires will have them ,

I got four tires modified to my liking for $15 each .
At a tire jiont .

Larry
