Hi guys, has anyone got a jerry can holder on the back of their bus?
Has anyone made one or bought one?
Or does anyone know if someone sells them or just some ideas?

Chop, there is a couple of universal units on the market that take 20l jerries and mount onto the tailgate. I used to work at 4WD Warehouse (I shouldn't be plugging them) and had them ranging in price from about $50.00 (mild steel)-$95.00 (stainless). Just remember that these will add extra weight to the tailgate and won't be too good for the hinges.

Yeah i think i might have to make one on swing that is mount off the
bumper, but that would have to be strengthened!

You should always mount something like this off the chassis and only use the bumper for support if necessary.

I think you'll find that it is illegal to carry a jerry can of fuel on the back of the car like this

I would not particularly like to run up the back of a 4x4 with 40 litres of fuel hanging off the back of it. It's ok to put water in them - not fuel

You know i seen a lot of nasty rear enders they don't just explode, think about it a steel jerry can has as my chance as you sierra gas tank... more likely in acollision it would fly off and land somewhere
