These are solid reliable vehicles as far as I know. The only thing that I would add is Isuzu petrol motors aversion to gas conversion. See the thread in the FAQ/Tech section...

Sorry I cant be much more help. Good luck!

Did you buy it? I have one. Bought it about 4 months ago. The duel fuel option suits me as I have do do a lot of highway driving

Had 220K on the clock when I bought it

Have no probs yet

Done 15000 so far and still havent needed to add oil and still looks clean
Previous owner bought it in 2000 at 67K and put it on LPG then.

Had to get new valves and seats in early 2004 at about 180K as a couple were burnt enough to cause probs. He didnt know if the new valves and seats were gas compatable though so I dont know how many Kms I'll get before they need doing again. mechanic told him it should be good for about 200thousand k's
modern cars = soft valve seats :bad-words:

I got a new gas processor which I can check and tune myself cos the old one was faulty and no way of knowing if the mixture was right unless on a gas analyser. Goes better too now on gas and hardly notice the power difference from petrol.

I love the versatility of this little truck. Like a car on road and adequate off road and part ute, part sedan.
Torque at low revs or with a trailer is crap (like a lot of V6's) but when it gets around 3000rpm it goes like a shower of shit.
Cab noise is minimal and road manners are good and smooth
Needs a little lift for more capable off road touring though and maybe a manual locker for the front diff and some larger wheels and tyres.

This is my second reply. Dont know where the 1st went

Hope this helps your decision if you havent already.
Cheers, Sudso
