Hows it goin lads
just want to know if anyone uses those u bolts to change the shocks from eye to eye and if they make any difference eg less binding. I want to change the front shock towers so i can put in longer shocks aswell as changing the rear chassis mounts, I know rovertym make these mods and lr auto aswell i think. i'm getting the suspension lifted soon (2inch) and want to know if i should get these parts before buying pin to pin and pin to eye shocks.
Thanks fellas

i personally don't believe the front shock mounts have a binding issue with the collection of 10 inch stroke shocks going around. slotted bushes are the go in the radius arm with longer free length springs.
seems to be what most outerlimits guys run, me included.
there are plent of ways to attack the rear end of rovers, just choose your path and research it.
don't let the trend of changing every mount steer you imeadiately down that path, plenty of OBC's are won with pretty much standard suspension bracketry/location, albeit strengthened.
hope that made sense.
now get out there and install a sg 3 link with rovertym heim rear links, don't forget the remote reservoir billies as well     .
good luck and post pics, david
