hey all.

just finished putting my new front pads on my disc brakes and noticed that some brake fluid was coming out of the back of the caliper just behind where the hard line screws in..

looking closer and trying to clean that area up ended up with the caliper braking off from the hard line.. I unscrewed the other end that was left in the caliper and wondering now where to go from here?

I have a pair of vicegrips stopping the flow of brakefluid, how do i get this repaired? I dont think i could drive to a brake place to get it done (that im aware of) with the vicegrips under there.. can anyone recommend a cheap easy fix?

its just the hard line that go from the bracket on the disc cover to the calipers.. at least i got to replace the seals in the caliper while it was out..

Find a brake specialist and get them to make you up a flexible line to go from the braket on the diff to the back of the caliper.

Make servicing the front end a whole lot easier cause you don't have that little length of solid brake line.
