Thinking of selling the lwb

Mods if you don't want this here feel free to move it. I couldn't post it in FS because I'm not selling yet and chit chat... well we all know what happens in chit chat  Anyway...

I'm curious what everyone reckons I might get for the lwb at the moment. Between work and uni I never get to use it :? I'd look at getting a Grimace 4by for beach and daily duties till I have time to use a real one again

1984 lwb, 1.3 efi (approved), S3, 2" bl, wt diffs nt centers, rear lockright, new brakes, 31 xterrains on 15x7 sunnys, arb bar, warn 6000 lb low mount, ipf spots, maruti fibreglass ute roof, calmini flares & other stuff.

thoughts :?:

i reckon open at 7k and see what offers you get. Kymbo offered me his (similar spec: lockers 9000 hi-mount 31 simex mt's, rh3's etc etc, well sorted, comp proven lwb) for 5k

travel over to http://www.nbs4x4club.com and ask Kymbo for a look at his rig maybe. might give you a starting point to work from anyway..

I'll throw in a bj for 10k

Parting had occured to me BUT I have no equipment for removing the motor and box. Be way better for me to sell whole.

Anyone else :?:

that's funny I just saw that  I wrote G H E Y (sans spaces obviously) and it edited me automatically to weirdo when I posted.

Unless the hand of mod was in there somewhere :D

I reckon you will be better off keeping the Zuk. Even if you just made it a little bit more stock to make it more enjoyable to drive as a daily driver. To get rid of it and then buy a more stock 4by to use and then down the track maybe build another one will lead to lots of wasted $$$.

Hey mick...i just bought a 87 lwb 1 week ago...Pretty stock but with 3" lift. i paid 3700. i reckon start yours at prob bout 5500 realistically...maybe 6k. The lwb seem to sell well as there were 4 in the paper when i went to buy and 2 had already sold within a week. I say use their rarity to your advantage and up it a bit...good luck if u decide to sell. Oh and if u decide to part it i may be interesting in your tyres tranny and maybe diffs if i have money at the time. cheers

Mick,
Regarding pricing:

LWB Suzuki, rear auto-locker, GTi motor conversion, 2" lifted springs, 2" bodylift, Blue Tongue compressor, 235/75x15 Muddies, tube front bar, spotties, no rust and RWC just cost me $4500 from whoa to go.

Also looked at another LWB, stock 1.3L motor, widetrack... but with 31" muddies in Geelong for $3800

Stock Sierra Stockman except for 235/75x15 BFG muddies, rust coming through the floor, rear tray rusted pretty bad as well: sold for $6900 in Shepp car yard a few months back...

Cheers...
