Probably a silly question but not covered anywhere I can find in the tech articles - how much camber change is there when you wind up the torsion bars? Do you need to to a full wheel alignment ie replace shims etc it you wind up the torsion bars?
Thanks,
Noel

I found that when I did my torsion bars there was a significant change in the steering and that it would pull hard to the left. I took it to jax and they didnt realisee the shims for the camber were inside the engine bay untill I told them they were there.
From memory the total cost of the alignment including shims was about $60.

When I wound mine up I had no problems at all. The only think that changed was that the track width gets a little narrower the higher ya go.

I just had a wheel alingment done when mine was jacked up- no shims removed- and it drove fine.

They won't wheelalign mine as there is 23mm play in the front end. Ah well it still drives straight, most of the time.

I had a four wheel alignment done a few times with the wound up IFS and they never did anything with the shims. I thought it drove like a sports car. Now I'm death on wheels
