When i turn the wheel on one side, one of the leafs will suddenly slip sideways on the one above it. The passanger side doesn't do this.

How can i fix it, the leaves are only about a year and a half old.

Sounds like centre bolt is missing/broken

U-Bolts probably suspect too.

A guy at a suspension shop told me recently that leaf springs should be 'serviced' every 30,000Km. Servicing apparently means full dissassembly and cleaning with a wire brush, greasing between the leaves and reassembling then painting. He quoted $400.00, so I did it myself. Now, $400.00 seems cheap................

My springs don't make noises or 'walk' around on each other anymore though....
