where to buy transfer gears

want to buy some rockhopper gears. where have you guys got em from and how much. went to out of town and they wanted $1450. i think it very over prices as marks adapters sells em for $1250 and they are the same.
Have people had any success with bulk buys. and if so how many do ya need for a discount.

yer i will but i heard some people getting then for a grand so i thought that some one may be able to save me some money
