ARB RD01 into V6 Housing ... the truth is out there.

I have an ARB RD01 which I am wanting to install into a rebuilt V6 diff (after-market 5.29) . And, I have two new sets of both the V6 50mm carrier bearings, and the smaller 4 cylinder carrier bearings. Is it possible to have these sleaved to fit?

If yes, does this
1/ compromise the bearing strength/function?
2/ Who would perform the sleaving (e.g., engineering shop, ARB agent, etc).

Am NZ based.

Cheers,
Leithfield

I would not sleeve the bearing and compromise the $$$ that could result from failure .
Just go and buy another set of bearings.

if you are talking about a sleeve that goes between the bearing and carrier then yes it can be done, i have a front diff set up like that at the moment using an 80 series front hi pinion casing which holds larger v6 style bearings than the bundera/hilux carrier that I wanted installed.

A diff shop put it all together but they got an engineering shop to make up the sleeves (to be more accurate).
