Well finally after several months of putting up with an oil burning Roza,
I took her in to get worked on... I start my new job on monday, so I needed to get everything sorted.

So the head is off getting checked. Injectors getting cleaned.
Headers have 2 cracks. So I'm getting a set of hurricane Extractors for approx $240. Plus a full service..

Dunno how much i'm gunna be stung all up, but it's a wonder she was going as well as she was. There was a leak through the exhaust gasket on cylinders 1 and 4, plus 2 cracks in the header. Along with whatever else was going on with the head... Fingers crossed it's just stem seals gone.

Owe and the RHS engine mount is getting replaced at long last.

She should run like a gem when I get her back... And I'll finally be able to go bush again.. wohooo!!!

Sounds like mine a bit - heads off right now, getting new lifters and stuff as well, head was leaking into the cylinder making goo and generally causing havock!

Also getting timing belt done since it is all off, makes it almost no labour cost....

yeah same, timing belts getting done too.

It's worked out well cause he's taken the head off, he's not charging me any labour to do extra stuff, ie extractors and timing belt, because he's got the head off, and it's saving him time and ne knows the job will be done properly.

Good luck with yours mate.
