Probably someone here can tell you, but if no luck, try at http://www.aulro.com/modules.php?name=Forums
This place is populated by rabid Land Rover owners.

Not sure, if any one has one lying around and want to do a little science experiment we could probably get close by using the information we already have. Assume one man can reasonably lift 80 kg (remember to use correct lifting technique so as not to injure yourself) , then if 2 men can pick it (and you dont have to lift it to bench height) it would be around 140 - 160kg. If it needs 3 men to reasonably lift it then it will be closer to 230kg. :?

yeah, I think bare ie no ancilliaries like starter motor, alternator, inlet manifold it is about 160KG. Buggered if I know why a 4.2 would be heavier than a 3.9. They are exactly the same. Must be the crank counterweights weigh more!!!!
