Hi all,

Have a mate with a Petrol 100 series wanting to put in a dual battery setup. The wiring loom has connections for the genuine Toyota kit but Toyota Customer service are saying the kit is only for the Diesel??

Anyone using the genuine item or is ther a 3rd party set up that will use the existing cabling and not void any warranty.

Cheers

Why should it be different? I can't see any reason why should be different between petrol and diesel.

Say, using the genuine article, does the wiring harness isolate any of the existing electrics like the 12 volt accessory plugs at the back??

Also can you remember what actually came in the kit from toyota
