Using GU locking Nuts on a GQ hub

hey guys i want to use the GU locking nuts on the GQ hubs cuase they are easier so i want to know how do i do this and what parts do i need

go to nissan and get all the parts new. you will need
2 retaining nuts , 2 locking washers , 4 locking screws
takes about 10 minutes to do each side.
it is worth the time IMO

i have just done this to mine, its also worth b4 u do it to make up a tool with 2 pins so you can tighten it properly.

or use a hammer and pin punch :armsup:

exacery, but how tight do you do it when using that method? reason i'm currently making up a tool is cauz i wanna try and do them up to spec with a torque wrench.

i tighten them up as tight as i can get them , and constantly rotate the disk at the same time. you will find you will need to back it of a little to get the screws to line up. i have never had one come loose.
