I got my eyes on a international scout sitting in someones back paddock. What diffs would I find under it and what would the stud pattern be?

Really depends on the year, but generally Dana 44's with (Aus) driver side drop, 5 on 5 1/2", same as very early Jeeps (pre cj-7), Zooks, Daihatsu Feroza/Rocky, Kia Sportage.

(I want those diffs  )

hey rhett i have one sitting in my back yard that i want to sell if you are interested they have dana 30 rear and dana 27 front diffs (or at least mine does) mine is a 1963 sc80 with a falcon 6 cyl motor in it and i need to get about $600 for it. I started to rebuild it but lost interest in it most of the rust has been cut out and replaced with new metal
. It cost me $600 and i have spent a fair bit on it so i just want to get the purchase price back it comes with a rose gum floor in the tray area hilux indicator assembly (fitted) roll bar (Origin unknown) but if you want pics or more info pm me
cheers Trevor

There is a flat pad under the #2 cylinder that has either V-392 or V-345 with the engine serial number on the second line. This pad is just to the rear of the fuel pump and at the same level as the pump mounting bolts. The pad appears to sit on the front corner of the motor mount. That should identify it for sure.

a stock 392 not much as the comp ratio is low

Thats a shame, a mate of mine has a 318 from an international truck. Its the same as the chrysler except it has the international logo cast into it. Thanks anyway.

He got it from me. :D

I didn't need an other project, the thing has a good motor tho,
i got it from a car yard in Nerang (trade in) for 100 bucks and my uncle John wanted a toy.

D30 rear is a pretty rare beast out of the jeep line up was only used for a couple of years in the comando's are you sure it is a D30 rear and not a D44 with 2 peice axles ?
