I got my eyes on a international scout sitting in someones back paddock. What diffs would I find under it and what would the stud pattern be?
What adaptor did you use to fit the ford in or does it have a f100 box and t/caseflyinwall wrote:hey rhett i have one sitting in my back yard that i want to sell if you are interested they have dana 30 rear and dana 27 front diffs (or at least mine does) mine is a 1963 sc80 with a falcon 6 cyl motor in it and i need to get about $600 for it. I started to rebuild it but lost interest in it most of the rust has been cut out and replaced with new metal
. It cost me $600 and i have spent a fair bit on it so i just want to get the purchase price back it comes with a rose gum floor in the tray area hilux indicator assembly (fitted) roll bar (Origin unknown) but if you want pics or more info pm me

Try doing a search on pirateRhett wrote:A mate and I have a wb on a scout chassie, Itsspose to have a 392 in it. I can't find any numbers on the block any where all I know is it is big. Any one know what these are worth? its followed up by a huge auto and it looks like a dana 20 transfere.
There is a flat pad under the #2 cylinder that has either V-392 or V-345 with the engine serial number on the second line. This pad is just to the rear of the fuel pump and at the same level as the pump mounting bolts. The pad appears to sit on the front corner of the motor mount. That should identify it for sure.Rhett wrote:A mate and I have a wb on a scout chassie, Itsspose to have a 392 in it. I can't find any numbers on the block any where all I know is it is big. Nope IH 345 and 392 NOT a hemi/mopar motor.cuda wrote:Hi, I see your talking 392's and 354's. Are these the old mopar hemis? If so could you enlighten me where I may be able to scratch one of these up from.
Is it the white one you got in Yandina from John Harrison??flyinwall wrote:scout392 sorry about not responding earlier but i dont often check this section. The ford 6 cyl. motor was already in the scout when i got it so i cant give you any more info on that sorry but i still have it if you want it pm me if you want it

D30 rear is a pretty rare beast out of the jeep line up was only used for a couple of years in the comando's are you sure it is a D30 rear and not a D44 with 2 peice axles ?flyinwall wrote:hey rhett i have one sitting in my back yard that i want to sell if you are interested they have dana 30 rear and dana 27 front diffs (or at least mine does) mine is a 1963 sc80 with a falcon 6 cyl motor in it and i need to get about $600 for it.
