Stage 1 speedo cable

does anyone know if the speedo cable housing is the same as the series2 housings?
if not anyone know of a $ for new
canada

Not sure if the bottom housing is the same as S2.
Same as series 3. They have the tapered square end.
Clip on end at the speedo.
About $30 new. Make sure its not the plastic gear or the gauge itself first.

no the housing is snaped right above where it loops down past the master cyl' and the cable is snaped there too...ill pull them both out today and check..would the routing be the same on the 4BD1 as the V8?

Just do it however it fits.
Mine was a PITA to get into the firewall because of extra wiring...
Try to get it through the drivers side holes in the firewall, the most direct route with the least kinks/bends is the best way.
