would you buy this?

i have the oppertunity to purchase a 1889 GQ patrol it is a 4.2 carby petrol on gas it is auto done 240,000km it is clean inside and out for $5000 and will a petrol auto be allright offroad? and as my MK's motor is a bit tired and has a cracked head i might sell it and pump the cash into the GQ? what do people think

yeah id say do it
just make sure the auto is ok if u want the auto because there expensive to repair but if your not fussed with auto just put mannual box in when it does ok...

$5000 is about going rate for the vehicle you describe I reckon. So dont rush in and buy it just cause you think its a dead-set bargain.
Unless it has the lpg tank inside the car, I would shop around for petrol guzzler only

its a good buy.
I payed $4800 , 8 months ago for shorty. its manuel... TB42 on gas and petrol both working ( duel fuel ).... clean enough, paint is ordinary but scubbs up OK after a bath..... only had 235,000kms wen i got it to
runs well.....
came with auto sway bar disconnect and rear factory locker as well...
ive only put a stereo, 33's and 2 inch lift in it with gearbox spacers and the only major problem i have had is that the head gasket went so i had to get the head re done......
but that was well after i bought it.
so i rekcon its a good buy for the auto.... dont pass it up
