Have just fitted some 265/75R16 Muds (31.7") to my Disco 2 and need to fit a speedo correction unit. Does anyone know which one is best to use on the disco and where to get them?
Cheers, Mick

I think Slunnie has fitted one and has done a write up on here.

Contact
http://www.4x4de.com/ They are the new Aussie importers of the Truspeed from Iceland. This is the only one that seems to work so far.
The installation writeup + pics for an auto tranny is at:

There is a copy on Outerlimits somewhere also.
Manual tranny installation will have to go in behind the speedo instrument though rather than direct into the computers.

Sent an e-mail to the 4x4de crowd so will wait to hear what they say. I had a look at your installation pics and it's all looks pretty complicated. Not too mechanically minded myself and don't have a full workshop by any means, but is this something that is fairly straight forward to connect up without the use of any specialised tools or a GPS unit?
I have book marked your instal page for reference anyway in case I attempt to tackle it myself!!
Cheers again for the input Slunnie and call me if you ever want to sell your rig!!!

No worries.
Special tools?
Soldering iron,
plyers
solder
electrical connectors
electrical tape to cover it all and tidy it up
Zip ties to tidy it up
Small flat screw driver to calibrate it
GPS to calibrate it.
Thats about it.
