hi all i was wondering what are the common engine upgrades that have been done. that are able to still use the original gear boxes. thanks in advance to all the gurus.....

cheepest and bolt in option, with good power

Nissan RB-25 turbo from R33 skyline, mixing and matching parts from the Rb-30 patrol its all fairly strait forward.
