Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Ok I am putting 35" Mtr's (in the next 2-3 weeks) on my bundera when I get new diff ratios.
I am sure that the current rear (lsd) diff ratio is 4.5 and therefore the front would be the same.

What diff ratios would i have to fit to compensate for the 35's? (Bringing it back to stock as much as possible).

From what I undersatnd I would need 4.88's is this true?

Will changing the diff ratios stuff up my revs at say 100kmph or will it be about the same cos of the 35's?

What exactly do I need to change in the diff (just the ring and pinion or the center as well)?

Any advice is most appreciated and if you have some that would be suiteable for this purpose please PM me.

The reason you change the diff ratios is to bring it back to stock, so if you get it right (the ratios), it will be the same as it is now, just having bigger tires and you will be lots poorer

your only option is a 4.88 for streangh but try finding a high pinion for the front in that ratio there hard to get the rears easy

Please excuse my naivety but what is the difference in a highpinion and a standard diff?

Your front diff is a high pinion which means basicaly that the pinion is above the centre line of the diff rather than bellow it like the rear is.

4.88s are very hard to come by in a high pinion second hand but new gears in this ratio are available.
4.88s are not going to get you back to stock. The closest you will be able to get will be 5.29 gears which are not available off the shelf in aus as far as i know but are available from the US.
