JBITZ makes them, althought they specialize in Jeep they might be able to knock it up for a 40. Here's their website: http://www.jbitz.com.au/product.php?id=34

Good thinking but other place that you comparing price needs to be advertising the exact same productjoelthommo wrote:Bunnings..expensive.. won't the whole beat it by 10% come into effect??81 rangie wrote:u can just go to bunnings, but I found they were a lot more expensive, so just go to a steel place and see what they have

Not actually the advertised price. Here is the quote from Bunning's:
If you happen to find a cheaper price on a stocked item, We'll beat it by 10%*.
*Excludes trade quotations, stock liquidations and commercial quantities.Shelf prices may be lower than advertised to ensure lowest prices everyday.
(the above line "shelf prices" blah, blah, blah, means that their shelf price may be cheaper than there already advertised price as they may have had a price reduction since printing the catalogue. does not relate to anyone elses "advertised price" - just their PRICE).
Where you may find they have a problem is if pricing against a steel supplier (may not class it as the "stocked item" becuase it may be different manufacturer, different sizing, different grade). This type of guarantee usually relates to the EXACT same product - ie, Yates Garden Trolley at $19.95. You will be asking them to compare a "sheet of steel" - not brand specific.
But, you never know if you never try. I have used this guarantee at Bunnings for some lights - the competitir wasn't advertised, they were just cheaper (which is pretty normal when dealing with Bunnings!).
Best of luck.

ok as the local (to the fourum) bunnings person. no it probly won't work, bunnings only sell small sheets and to get a price match it has to be identical. you could get a full sheet in by special order though. it might be worth checking the price agaist your local aluminum place.
a hint for transporting it put a couple of bits of 2x4 under it and tie it down tight, other wise you might find you have a bent sheet when you get home. i have see alot of people come back with half a sheet of things wanting another one, good for us but not good for you so we try to tell people but by law we arn't ment to.
