Can anyone help with some info? im interested in swapping the troopy body with a hilux single/Xtra cab, and just wondering if its doable? and will it be easily engineered?

Take some measurments of the body mounts etc and compare them both to see how it would fit... I know with a little bit of work a hi-lux body will go onto a 80 series chassis..... Engineering maybe someone else will know more but it should be fine......

i have spoke to a engineer in regards to body swaping and the main issue is the body has to comply with the year model of the chassi , the adr
ie=seatbelts ,pollution requirements and all the other little fun bits too

so would it just be easier to throw on a 75 series single cab? just want to get rid of the troopy body and cut down to a single cab/tray back
