Engine Mounts

i know its been posted b4 but i cant find it.
but does anybody know if there are any substitutes???
ive heard of nissan mounts with a 5mm plate welded on and holes drilled.
i dont know how safe that is but if it works it would be good.
i dont wanna get rocky mounts again coz they're to weak and cost to much

Flynn, try Mackay- they make aftermarket ones to suit the Feroza. There's a link to their catalogue in the FAQ.
The seatbalt material gets wrapped around the engine mount rubber section and is sandwiched between the mount and the body. It helps limit the amount the mount can move so hopefully the rubber bit won't break.

The webbing also acts as a failsafe in case the mount shears. A sort of 'rattle-free' chain link for those frightened the engine is going to try to spin in the bay.

spin?? what spin?!
hell, mine puked a rod through the block when the engine mount and tranny mount went. of course it was under load, going 65 mph in 3rd gear, nearly redlining....

well wen my mounts broke the engine torqued so much that the fan cut straight thru the air intake and thru the radiator pipe.
the alternater also lost a few teeth on the intercooler pipe
im also lookin for the cheapest mounts
and somethin that stops THAT^^^ from happening again
