Transfer the Gears??

After phoning wreckers throught out Australia I have been unable to source a 1l tcase with the larger splines
So I have decided to splash out and buy sum gears
But before I do would like some friendly advice!!
My vehicle is an 89 1.3 zuk running 31x10.5. Will never be running bigger tyres and not really after a rock crawler, just want high way speeds back and reduce clutch burning offroad.
Would I be better of going tcase gears or ring and pinion. If tcase, 4.16's or 5.14's - probably calmini's.
Has anyone ever purchased the full rebiult tcases from the likes of Rocky Road or Roadless Gear?? Would it be possible to have something like that sent from the states?? (prices reasonable)
Has anyone ever ordered anything direct from calmini?? I enquired a while back and was kindly asked to speak to my local stockist but I don't really want to as their service is pathetic!(and the mark up is
)
Sorry for the bararge of ???
Appreciate any input.
Kev.

i worked this out in a previous thread... stock tyre is 26".. a 31" tyre is 19.2% larger than stock. Calmini 5.14 high range is 18.3% reduction. this puts you somewhere around the area of a zuk running 215/75r15s. a good rev range in my opinion as stock tyres make the engine REALLY rev!
i asked calmini also, but they directed me to "my local dealer" which i already knew was 4wd USA in bayswater.
The mark-up was considerable, but the service was pretty good - i got weekly updates on the gears whereabouts and he even waited around till 5.45pm for me to get there to pick them up.
the other advantage is if the gears fail i can take them to 4wdUSA to send them to calmini for warranty and not have to deal with it myself. a big plus.

4 weeks... that includes 2 weeks delay on the order too...
however he did say he was ordering more than just mine to keep in stock - so he may have some sitting there waiting for you!

From the little research I have done diff ratios don't seem to be all that much cheaper. Spoke to someone about vit centres and they quoted almost $1000 just to supply second hand????? Calmini wouldnt be far off that either by the time I get them here

at that price go the transfer gears , both myself and a mate bought sets from overkill (ring and pinions5.12) cost from memory $380 per set , must be a top set for $1000 must come complete with centres axles and tyres
