I've got a Stage 1 LT95 with a big front flange for the DC propshaft, though in my application a rear Disco tailshaft is drop in, apart from this flange pattern. I spoke to 4WD's about ordering a replacement flange to change this over to the normal rover transfercase pattern and his thoughts are that its not as simple as just changing the flanges for some reason. Has anybody done this by any chance or know why it cant be done.

Don't know the answer, but why not just make an adaptor out of a disc of 10mm thick steel?

I'll add it to the list of photos
Can be done.

I put a disco double cardin driveshaft in my rangie with LT230. Changing the flange over was just a matter of removing the old and fitting the new in it's place.
To change back, would just be the reverse procedure.
I can't think why it would be different with an LT95.

As far as i know it is a straight swap. the LT230's are, cant see why the LT95 wouldn't
infact i need that flange for my Rangie...do you want to swap?? I have both LT230 flanges and LT95 (if there is any differance) here to try and we can find the answer out

I couldn't see any reasons why they couldn't swap over either. The last resort is to machine a spacer and push the axle forward a fraction or machine down the current flange to suit. GURU, that'd be awsome, lets try the swap and see how it goes. I'll give you a call.

No spacer needed.
Should be a direct swap.

my spare stage 1 propshaft fits onto any lt 95 using a standard adapter,so you can run a range rover front shaft or a stage 1 shaft.every stage 1 i've seen has this adapter.
