1 litre zuke

hey guys, is there anything wrong with 1 litre zukes? why other than engine size and gearbox does everyone go for 1.3's?

no there is nothing wrong with 1l zooks. i went for a 1.3 as i wanted the larger motor and i got it cheap.....other than motor and gear box the other main diference is the age of the vehicle. 1l zooks are older then 1.3s so they are usualy more worn out. but if you cand find a good one thats not to worn out it woyld be great you can still have as uch fun in it as u would in a 1.3

Apart from whats already said. The 1.3s have stronger axles/diffs and also a wider stance on the road generally.

nicbeer: are 1L diffs narrower then NT 1.3 difffs?
i thought they were they same...could be wrong but

Good point. I think the 1L is the same as 1.3 NT i was thinking WT.

The axle tubes are smaller, makes getting U bolts hard. Havent had any problems with my 1ltr. Its just so SLOW.

I have a 1ltr with extractors. I think they are good. I have heard the carbie is better than the 1.3's and is not so affected by angles. the transfer case has a different ratio so you still have plenty of get up and go in low range. The only thing it lacks is open road speed since mine is only a 4 speed.
