had a similar problem last year. I took it to my bro in-laws workshop, hit it with a bit of heat and used a rattle gun to get it off.

are you turning it the right way? (no it's not a silly question, i've seen people try and try and try until they strip threads and heads of bolts).

will give it some heat before i strip it any more thanks skippy

i had the same problem on my hilux transfer case
after heating it still wouldnt budge

i carefully drilled a hole through it and used some easy outs to get it off
it was the only way

then spent like $2 buying a new plug and washer for it

being a diff if need be you can pull the center out to clean out any small finings etc but if your careful just flushing the oil should get rid of most of the filings.

weld another nut to it and then unscrew that

the heat from the welding should also free it up some

Mine has ground into the housing, and is wedged in. Is there any ideas for this? Apart from more clearance? I have 42s on it already! There is no recognisable edge left on the filler plug and the ring welded around it to protect it by the factory is missing

Suck it out of the filler plug or turn the diff around.

Sounds like you need a custom housing BJ.

Maybe with the drain plug inset into the housing. although not sure how much clearance inside the housing there is.

cheers

BJ, you're not running spook gear, that's your first problem. LOL

you know how to get it out smart arse. get your bro/cousin to weld a nut onto the fawker and wrench on it. where in doubt get a BF grinder out.

it leaks too muhc oil to get a weld on. PLus there aint enough surface to weld too ;)

Custom housing may be the go, sahve it to the lowest point, then replace the bottom lowest stud with a bolt and make that the drain point ;)

is this in your new weapon BJ or in the yellow POS?
