well i found out yesterday that my 350 has a burnt valve. its got low compression on one cylinder and has way too much hydrocarbons coming out the exhaust.
I figure this means that the heads need to be replaced/reconditioned.
The motor is early to mid 80's, stock standard but with lpg. What i would like help with is deciding what heads are good for more performance, running mainly gas, plus what else could i do fairly cheaply at the same time to get more horsies out of it.

i would just buy a late model create motor, a cast 350 will set you back around $2800 and that isnt alot more than adding rollers and valves to yours.

I know a guy that has a 98 vet tpi motor complete for $2500, it has alloy heads and a great injection system.
