Stacks are definately doable. All depends where you want them to exit. You should be able to bring the exhaust of the muffler under the tray, forward & up the passenger side of the cab.

If you want twin stacks, then get your muffler replaced with a single in, double out muffler. Then run the exhaust as described above.

If you want them inbetween the cab & tray, then you will have to move the tray back or cut holes in the tray.

Just make sure you fit gaurds on them as you will burn yourself on them otherwise.

Funny, my outer name is stacks-on-45, which is when i had twin stacks on my V8 FJ45 ute - i'll post a pic if i can find one.

When i did mine, i did body lift, and had to do tray lift because of the roof rack, so when i lifted the tray i moved it back a bit - 70mm i think - and the stacks then had plenty of room.

There is an ADR something along the lines of ' the exhaust outlet must be more than 300mm away from the nearest opening', meaning door/window/air vent.

I'm planning twin stacks when i convert my troopy to an extra cab, probably going to go the flap things on top.

A hint if you're still gonna 4wd it - make the tip removable, and the pipe below stack minus tip height below your roof or cage or whatever.

I hda droopy tips on mine, which were just pushed on by hand, and when i went 4bying i just slid the tips off and chucked them in the tray. Never had one fall off in 4 years.
