the prob is that the body has to be adr complied to the chassi year

doesn't mater if tyou fit the 80 series body to the 60 chassi tho
doesn't answer your prob just a something to think about before you go ahead

So thats how people get away with fitting cab chassis bodies to 80 series, but I wanted to use the MWB Body...

How do we get around this then?

60's came in 1990 as did 80 series

so technically they should both be compliant to the 1990 ADR's ?

It would be a lot of work, but it is possible to fit an 80 series suspension and drivetrain into a 60. Click this link on how a US company did it.

i only have one question... why bother?

The 60 was not as astetically (sp?) appealing as the 80. why would you want to waste the big bux to change it over?

maybe if you can get a 80 rollover cheap and have a good 60 series body.
