Guys
Has anyone (International especially) got or seen a PTO drive for NJ 3.5l Gen II?
Want to drive my hydraulic pump with it

No I haven't.
There was never a PTO drive released by Mitsu for a 3.0 V6 let alone a 3.5 V6 or 2.8TDI (only for Gen 1 4 cylinders).
It would have to be a custom job, maybe using a 4 cylinder assembly and adapting it to the larger t/case. This will cost - custom gears, adapter plate etc.
You may as well buy a 9500xi and some plasma coz thats what I reckon it will end up costing you.

Sorry Frank but I'm with Ado here, if cost was involved we would all be driving Lada's. Who wants a battery eating, solenoid failing, motor smoking model like everyone has when with some patience, and $$, you can have something better.
Surely otherwise you would be driving a Patrol instead of investing hours building ypurs.

Fair point, I can check the 3.0 & 3.5 V6 t/cases for the idler gear cover plate size & bolt pattern with a bit of luck they will be the same so a 4 cylinder PTO drive will bolt up. Then you would need just the custom drive gear to mesh with the idler gear. If you can source a PTO kit (I've only seen a few for sale at around $1000) then it is possible. Some of the driveshafts would probably have to be custom as well as a Gen 2 would is larger than a Gen 1.

I don't want an electric winch - thanks - personal preference
but I did think that one of our fellow members from South Africa was talking about a PTO for my model once
I know it never surfaced in OZ but if you're sure that they were never made then I'll give up and make one

The Ox is great - just very slow - as the Pajero PS pump is 1500psi and 7-8 LPM
I'd like to tripple the speed if poss

You could allways get a bigger power steering pump. On the 3.0 v6 it would be real easy to fabricated a new mount for a bigger pump. It is on the side the of the engine already. All you would need to do is swap over your pulley and get the right size belt.

Didn't that guy Jeepir have a PTO winch on his 93 or whatever it was? He used to hang out at 4x4wire and last I saw him at POCUK board. I think he's from Norway...

Yes I have seen second Gen soft top with a factory PTO winch here in the NZ.He didn't even off road the vehicle.
No, he didn't want to part with it either.
The one and only one I have seen. The hand book I got with my Paj (93) has the pictures and instruction on how to use the PTO winch.
I know it does not help very much on your quest but I thought you mite like to know.
Cheers John.
