like surging at 4000 rpm.. as in runnin out of fuel??

wild guess.. fuel pump?

its carby, unless you done mods,

so maybe the secondaries in the carb are bloked, or fuel filter is blocked,

in tank strainer might be blocked,

GQ 3 LITER BRAKEING DOWN
