Problems with humid weather

I have some problems starting my Patrol SD33T engine during rain or when the weather is humid. And the temperature is high here, we have summer in Europe.
What should be the reason for this?

Shorts I reckon. The increased humidity lowers the resistance of the air, and if dew settles on surfaces, it basically makes them a conductor. It's tricky, but test for shorts and voltage drops. Drench things with WD40 or contact cleaner to check.

How do you mean hard to start? Like the motor winds over, or maybe a problem with the starter motor like buger suggested?
hard to start

Maybe the electric motor on the side of the block that tuns the engine off via the ignition is on its way out and the humidity is making the problem worse. maybe its not releasing when you turn the ignition on and not letting the pump let fuel through.

How long does the timer glow up for? Nissans dont glow for long enough. You need 20 secs for normal and 30 secs in the cold. you may try glowing it twice.
