SideSill Protection Sierra

has anybody got pics for a sierra sill protectection i think you call them sliders my sills are getting bad from large rocks

i might, but if u get a decent hit it will fark your whloe sill pannel... needs to be attached to somthing tuff. like chassi.nicbeer wrote:Would this work at all. Was just having a play today on the pc with designs.
using about a 4-5" thickwalled pipe and cutting section in the middle to fit over the sill. possibly on the ends keeping the full round to go over the ends of the arches. Weld on or bolt maybe. Thinking tube is stronger than box i thought.

YEP trust me my drivers side is completly farked from where i broke both swivel pins, and the wheel departed... out, smashed the sill pannel up then under the back wheel b4 the diff hit the ground and we came to a sudden hult.. this was a 60kph.. luck i didnt roll.Rhett wrote:It would be no stonger than my 45ed sills they are 4mm.
