What a top day! Started out just trying to get time to install the snorkel I took off the petrol Patrol and put it on the t/diesel. It went so well (even without a template - just lots of measuring and two balls in my throat) that I got time to install the new Milford barrier as well. Neat as a button and finished by 3:00pm. Not a bad day's work. Time for a beer! :)

LOL.... I went down to a Nissan dealer yesterday to get some of those 45-deg twist clips for the front grille. I was paying the bloke and thought to myself.... "there was something else I needed while I was here.....HMmmmmmm"

Dang!

Micky - it's just a plain old nibbler. You can get one like this for $14.00 at Dick Smith Electronics - or anywhere good games are sold :)

Cheers mate - I'll chase some up.

Does the whole vehicle give you that "Toyota Feeling" after the installation?

use either cable ties for grill, or the captive nut things from computer racking clip straight in

All I know is without any bonnet rubber for the past year.... The thing rattles around a lot and is quite good for scaring passengers...

I just got some from Nissan, $14 each, bit of a rip off, but I couldnt be bothered making something up when they bolt straight in and look fine. They stopped my bonnet rattling around :)

Might just have to go and get some tomorrow then. My bonnet nearly popped on the freeway at 110kmh this morning - and flew up and down so wildly I thought she might just lift all the way..... :(
