Just read the OME options for standard and firmer setting for Grand Vitara

FRONT
Stock/Light Load (0-34kg)

Spring 1.25" OME959 $83.43 each 10
Shock N103S $149.96 each 8

Heavy Load (34-75kg)
Spring 1.25" OME962 $83.43 each 10
Shock N103S $91.96 each 8

REAR
Medium Load
Spring 1.25" OME961 $83.43 each 8
Shock *N105/N32 $91.96 each 8

* First part number gives firmer ride for: FRONT - Increased axle weight eg: diesel, bullbar, winch. REAR- Regular load carriers and those who prefer a positive feel.

Interested to hear which way people have gone and how it's panned out. Too firm or too soft?

1.25" lift seems a bit pissy. How does this reconcile to the 40mm extra strut length. Seems 8mm short. Any thoughts?

Thks

Take a look at what everyone runs, then what the competition has to offer and you'll soon see that this is the best option you have.

When you take a stock length strut vs. OME, it is about an inch longer in body length and 40mm longer in rod length, giving more travel.

If you do not like what ARB etc offers in the way of lists.

Calimini do a 2.5" lift for the GV.

There are only 2 distributers in Australia.

1. 4X4 USA (Perth)
www.calmini.com

2. Kaos 4WD (Camberra).
kaos4X4.com.au

However, I have heard the Calmini setup is very soft..
But that is only what I have heard... Do not take this as fact.
