I am going to clean my diffs/axles down and re paint them...........do I need to use anything special, ie heat resistant or can I just use a standard metal primer and enamel spray paint?

Thanks,

Martin

Its not realy a high heat area but it wouldnt hurt, it would get some heat off the road. I would consider trying body deadner.

white knight or kill rust gloss black is good stuff......in the event you scratch mark or have to modify a touch up is only a spray can away and it blends easy.

Thanks guys.

I found this company, they are only just up the road from me:

Pretty expensive, but the product sounds good. Might give it a try, if it's as good as they say it shouldn't get stone chips and should last ages.

probably a bit of an overkill, but that stuff will probably last a long time.
