Goodyear have stopped importing the MTR, only sets on backorder (around 120) will be filled and then thats it, not even spares for warrenty claims.
they were proving to be popular and a bloody good tyre..

Just got off the Phone to Goodyear media division , RE Mtr.
Whilst Stock is currently low (i.e. non) they are DEFINATELY bringing in more MTR's and have not even considered dropping this tyre.
There, Relax, More MTR's will be on the way.

HI i am new to this site let me tell you a bit about myself,I am an area sales manager for Goodyear and i can safely say,we will keep inporting the MT/R's even the 37x12.5r15.We did not know the tyre was accepted so well and stock levels have been increased. So if you thought you have driving on the best off road tyre try the Goodyear MT/R's.

o.k.
Quick Question,
When will Goodyear look at the 315, and bigger sizes for 16"?
We have 6 sets good to go of 315/70/16 (35 x 12.5 x 16)?
We are close to getting them sent privately from the US if Goodyear Can't import them.

sorry fo the scare guys................ i followed it up myself and here is the reply from goodyear aust
=====================================
Hi John
In the 33's we have 150+ in stock and 500 on order to come in in the next 3
months
and nothing in the pipe line to stop this product. We have nil in the
warehouse at the
moment on the 35's but 600 on order to come in over the next 3 months and
again
nothing in the pipeline to cancel same. The only size we are going to chop
is the
285/75R16 due to lack of interest.

To answer your question,as a Goodyear company we are always looking to bring in new sizes but it is a long process in the ording of tyre from America. But we are looking at bringing those sizes now that they are getting more popular.

im worried abou tthe droppingof the 285/75r16
thats all new 100 series, 78-79 series and GU3 owners without a 16" rim and 33" combo due to 15" rims being too small for the brake calipers..
bad move goodyear

Yes as long as Goodyear make them we will keep bring them in.The only thing different about the 37'' is that they do not have white lettering, because they are used for rock climbing in America.

I think the important question here is....how good a deal can you do me for four 31x10.5x15 MTRs??? 8)
It's good to see the industry willing to mix it up with the community...should be more of this.
