Body lift bolts!!

I'm looking at doing a 50mm body lift in the near future and was wondering if anyyone knows what length the body mounting bolts are (at standard length) for an NJ 3.0lt LWB. I was also wondering if all 12 are the same size.

If anyone that has done a lift knows the sizes that would be great, because i don't want to have to run down to the nut and bolt place after pulling it all apart. I would rather have it all ready to go and do it in one hit!!

Any help would be sweet...

sorry to hijack here hudson,

but id also like to know the lengths on a SWB for all 8, are they the same? only because the same as hudson, i dont wanna have to take them out and measure, cos the place where ill get them from is 30 mins away and i cant hop on my bike and ride there :D easier to just know first ;)

before you go doing a body lift your self really research it, i'd even go and get quotes and get a pro to do it. keep in mind all the extra stuff that will need mods.. ie gear sticks, stearing coloum, front and rear bars engine mounts gearbox transfer break linesthe list goes on....

of course i could be wrong, but it dosent hurt to sus it all out.

90mm is the standard length for a LWB, I guess a shorty would be the same :?: . They are all the same length. It's a shame that link to Dave's site no longer works. I was a great howto.

yeh hudson,

i dunno, im trying to see if i can fit a set of 33's without a b/l, and if i can then i wont bother, the 31's on there at the moment have miles of space and then i did 2" s/l, so theres even more, i dunno, i think the front will be the only problem, hopefully the b/l wont cost me anything thanks to dad being the boss of an engineering company, so im not sure, might just do an 1" b/l or something, maybe 30mm, 40mm, but if i have to maybe go the 2", i dont wanna fit 35s like miyagi   , i only want 33's so i mght get away with it, dunno yet,

I was able to fit 33's with only a 2" Body Lift Kl (no sups lift), so you might be sweet.

Klrevo... After many hours of weighing up options i'm going for 32" muddies. Only reason for this is that on 33's i will need deeper offset rims. I have standard alloys at the moment and want to keep it that way (more so for looks and that i don't have the $ to spend on new rims at the moment) I have put 33's that i ordered for a customer on the front, and on full lock they hit the front sway bar...

You also have to remember that if you go for a aggressive tread the tyres are actually slightly larger because of the depth of the tread (and sidewall tread) compared to say a road going tyre.

The reason I'm going for a body lift is that i'm sick of straightening my side steps and bottoming out on the arse (Oh, and it looks pretty good as well) I also have a LWB and have a better track than a shorty.

I've also cut the front bump stops giving slightly more articulation and am working on some sort of rear sway bar disconnect and the last thing i want is to scrub out my nice new muddies on the body of all things....

Mate... it's pretty hard to say what works and what does'nt until you try it i suppose!! Like you, the body lift will cost me bugger all so if i'm not happy with it it's not hard to return to normal!!!
