You will need to do a manual code read or have a code read done by a DTC scanner (Snap-on or GMHs Tech 1-2) Don't just assume that the fault is an o2 sensor without checking the fault codes first. Can get expensive if you replace things that were OK and still have a fault.

i went to qld to have a look and sus it out. its one of my old mans hire cars it spends its life on fraiser island 90% of the time and the gear box exploded and i dident get a chance to sus it out. but after working on other cars there i would say the sensor has probly rusted right off the exaust the salt and hot exausts realy seem to rust. i might just take the engine check bulb out that will stop the punters complaining.

When the box failed was there any oil in it ?. I have heard of 2 manuals failing after apparently pumping the oil into the transfer. Especially in heavy going like sand.

dont know if thats happend will find out when i pull it out. and let ya know. there about 1600 second hand :( so ile probly patch it up if its not too far gone. its mainly jumping out of gear and was told its locked in 4x4. so one of the punters could have done some 4x4ing on the bitumen :( you

should see how ppl treat these things. but have been impressed at how tough the jackaroos are this is the first real mechanical issue and we have had a few jackaroos now. if there are any mechanics on this forum rainbow beach/tincan bay is the place to be all the workshops there are booked out. hence why i fly up for a week every month.
