they are the same as a normal one, except you don't hit your head on big bumps. also leaves head room once you put a cage in there.
I have one that I am going to chop into and extra cab sorta thing. one day.
enjoy

i have one. good over the bumps. LOL.
Watch out for rust around the top windows as mine are foobar. rusted on outside and in.
i have looked at a high roof extra cab conversion but the zook arse is all rust ridden.

I want to loose the rear of the car. ie just put a sheet of metal with a window. I don't want to move the rear door forward or the rear corners.
the door weighs too much.
enjoy ashley
ps they are not heaps tippy like some people will tell you. its like a mast on a boat, might look like its gonna tip but they are not that bad.

I have a 1988 hightop and the small amount of offroading I've done in it, did seem a bit tippy but I'm coming from a swb widetrack GV, and it was very stable even with a 4.5" lift. I plan on putting hilux diffs under it for some more width and a bit more weight. The extra roof height is good as I'm 6'3"
I originally wanted a soft top but the security of a hard top is a good option.
