well finally this thing got to see some dirt and rocks
rig worked really well for its first run out nothing went rong
we turned up at suzuki test track at around 1pm
steve drove up didnt take a reverse wich is a fair effort for a rig with only a locked front ( he had the disadvantage of bigger diffs to but lucky he has coils intead of extended shackles or are coils worse then extended shackles?
)
enough talkin ill post some pics
i was gunna put it in trips and tracks section but it is suzuki specific so i thought use would like them better here

Lookin Good. About time it got done
Im happy for this to stay in the zook section as long as it doesnt turn into another slinging match. Which in the past most of these types of threads have.

finally took the zook 4 a test run today up shuggy
loved it
we drove the zook test track, steps, gates and had a go at hub hill.
pretty impressed with it, feel really comfortable in it, feels very stable/balanced. no i didnt make hub
but got further than i did in the buggy
think ill walk it pretty easy when rears locked.
lsd doesnt work for shat, will try get an air locker this week.

It used to be "guess who's mums got a Wirlpool"
now it looks like "guess who's dad's got a plasma cutter"
Looks great, those rocks look like fun (not that my whimpy diffs would last 10 mins
)
Peter.

Just out of curiosity CHOPZUKI, do you know how much it weighs?
given that you have added a lot of wieght and you have obviously removed a shit load as well, I wonder were it sits at the moment.
Peter.

thanks guys
a1: new gears are awesome, tried to go right but open rear gave me no choice, same as hub hill
once its locked ill start pushin it
edit: dunno wat it weighs but it would be a very heavy zook because of diffs and suspension.

That's nice and wide. Any extra offset in the rims or is that completly stock? Nissan or Toyota rims?
I'm only 73" wide, the tires squash into a 6'wide trailer(at least it wont move sideways).

just put the latest pic in the members section, under iron bore. Its the hilux diffs, IFS hubs and the 10" beadlocks that do it + the 6mm wheel spacers to clear the brakes.
