any one heard of adding mothballs to their diesel to clean the fuel system out?

try adding a few kilo's of sugar that usually cleans the fuel system out

an old mechanic said the truckies used to chuck a handful into their tanks and they'd shoot a nice blue flame out the exhaust

Not a good thing to add to your tank unless you like rebuilding motors

I worked drivin and blokes used to do it on Old White Road Boss' with old cummins in them.

yes it can be done.

what good it does, or bad????? âucked if I know.....
