Well as the title of the thread suggests, WHO belongs to these 54" and who in thier right mind would punish there axles with them?

So whats the problem BJ, you work for a trucking company and there is a set of 54 in michelins. I think the saying "they fell of the back of a truck" might be apropriate!

yep, its a jack, cause the 6stud rims wouldn't go onto the 5 stud hubs on the vitara

id bet a crispy greeny that they belong to a uni mog (ex army) cos theres heaps of them up here in townsville. and i also see a oka up the cap with a set of 54 inch muddies too

They are military spec Michalans, they are only available in US and Australia, some mogs do use the 54 as does the Bushranger. How do I know, 10years in the Australian Regular Army. I would even think I know where BJ got the idea Petersons 4x4 did a buildup of a Ford F350 Super duty and they ran this tyre.
