Hi

I am considering designing some rock sliders for my rangie. I want somthing that looks nice but can take all the abuse.

Where are the best mounting points for these rock sliders on the rangie?
There two extension from the chassis near the radius arms and rear trailing arms. Are they good to use?

Another option is to have the tubing of the rockslider welded to a 90 degree coner metal sheet and have bolted on the cabin but i think it might be weak

Please advise

look for thread on rock sliders here, the haultech ones use a piece of angle glued and rivited to the body under the doors and a piece of 75mmx25mm hollow section welded to it - really strong

Has anyone tried the Haultech one under heavy abuse.
If I am not mistaken it is the piece of angles sheet to which the hollow section is welded is bolted unto to the body.....
