Urethane is ok for spring packers. Urethane is no good as bushes where twisting in the joints are such as phanards, leading arms and trailing arms.

I found in my hilux the rubber ones (while a bit smoother ride) wore out twice as fast as the urethane ones.

Go rubber.
For the small cost to replace them a little more often you will get better flex and a smoother ride.

Got mine from Auto1, and are hell cheaper than all the 4wd rip off shops.

Blue urethane is nice and soft.

look up Elastomer companies in the Yellow pages, take a new one in with you so they can mould it and measure it's duro.

I have had some softer ones for a while now, get the flexability of rubber but doesn't bind as the shackle twists.

Normal urethane bushes for a zook are 90Duro, tried 50, too soft dies in no time, now on 70 seems OK

Duro gets my vote. Best of both worlds. Lasts quite well (at least 20K) and the ride is better than hard urethane.

I got mine from The Ultimate Suspension in Minto NSW, but they where not cheap. Next time round I will look for a similar product, from elsewhere.
