Hi guys.

My Dad owns a tiiiired oooold 60 and I would like to do some mods to it.
What mods would be suggestable on a tiiight budget.
Preferably home doable.

So far its got - Panasonic cd player and 6'' speakers in front doors, fly 6x9s in custom boxes in the back covering mudguards, Rust holes that gives the inside a bath, and 32'' Eldorado ZRT radials (discontinued line from Caboolture tyrepower).
I would hope to one day chop it in half, Lift it bout 2'', 2'' body lift, turbo, and custom tray.

P.S. We also have a 1965 40 series SWB with a 2F, 3 Spd, and 3.7 diffs.

For info on here Search for SOA and click "search for all terms" and maybe even select the toyota forum if you get to many results. Happy hunting :D

Yeah SPOA for sure. Check this out:

Also if that is not an option for you go to your local engineer and get em to build you some lift blocks for yours 60 (mine were $160 in Melbourne including high tensile bolts) which is about half price for a retail kit. If you lift 3" you will fit 35" inch tyres no worries. While this does not give you any mmore articulation it will allow you to tackle bigger logs/rocks and drive thorugh junk the 60 normally gets bogged in (within reason).

However if you can do it SPOA but you will need bigger tyres (35"s best) as the 31"s are a bit small and dicky looking.

Keep it real
