it has become apparent to myself after measureing many many many
times that the leaf perches from a nissan mK/Q front diff seem to
be verrrry close to lining up
my measurements:
Nissan
distance between mounts.= 675mm
distance from centre........= 337.5
ROCKY
distance between mounts.= 680
distance from centre........= 340
measured roughly with a tape while rocky diffs still on car...however
1.25mm difference seems plausible for swap...
can anyone pull better measurments on the rocky... i dont have a manual handy.

i got as far as removing the rear perches till it rained, got sick, and front was gettin rusty.
the reason i posted was to verify i had correct rocky measuerments
so others may have future reference should they investigate mk/mq diff
swap later on...

for times like these i wish there was a suck this emoticon so
and
will have to suffice.....
nissan mq patrol C200 front diff slotted straight in.
The pumpkin misses the sump barely just, didnt look hard.
need to get new ubolts n plate made since diff is approx 4" dia
and hook up brake lines to nissan ones.
currently providing around 2" track increase with 31s. theres no pics
cause its just remove and replace operation.
more as week comes by
CHeers.

go to a place called driveline services in Brendale mate for the shafts. Ask for Alan James
That place/ guy was the best service I have EVER received bar none so I'm always happy to pimp them
Tell him a very happy customer referred you
Ps take any parts you have spare like flanges/ u joints, it'll keep the cost down heaps

alrighty.... the story so far:
as it turns out rear drivshaft 15mm too long so once drivable
with working brakes, its goin down to superior engineer to suss out
steering COILS, SPOA or custom springs SUA.
so just lettin u all now its almost done and 90% of parts are reusable
cheers
