Who is using Pro Comp Shocks?
What do you think?
How do they compare to bilstiens, koni etc?
4WD STUFF can supply at a great price, but i would like a bit of feedback from those of you who use them.
Thanks.

I used to run the pro comp explorers on a GQ, they worked well for a cheap shock.

I have a mate with them on board and so far after the floggings he gives it they seem to stand up to the task. Plus lik many hhave said, good value for money.
I had Rancho RS9000's and they were shite, too soft and prone to breakage. I'm also a bit wary about these fancy American shocks, basically been there and done that and wasn't overly impressed with the outcome with all 4 of my Ranchos breaking but replaced under warranty. Also they wore out after 12 months and although soft and great off-road, there on-road prowess was a lot to be desired (even with the setting on 5
)
I run OME shocks, not huge amounts of travel but have been great on my Rangie since fitting them. The valving is a bit harder but I found the good spring combo all-round that works well and it's not too harsh off-road (nothing worse than a Rangie with hard springs thumping around off-road
)
Bilstiens or Konis, the latter two not overly cheap but money well spent but my pick if you budget goes this far.
Good luck with it.
