and if you still have trouble,
I wouldn't get rid of anything untill you are finnished, sometimes a small clip or bracket can be the differance between that "factory look" and a backyard botch up!
don't worry about the vit rad use the Sierra one.
it is a fairly straight forward conversion, one that you will be pleased you did.

you will have to make a wedge that sits behind the steering box to line it up with the column. about 20 mm i think. that is if you are using vit steering box

The Vitara radiator is pretty easy to install, only one or two welds.

Did it on mine as the original engine was a 1.0ltr and the radiator was tiny.

I agree, keep everything until you are done and dusted.

If it is a carby job, you will knock it over in a weekend. If it's EFI, it will take a little more time and problem solving when integrating the harnesses.

There are plumbing issues with the p/s, but nothing major, just new lines to fit the narrower engine bay.

I can recomend buying some kind of adaptor kit. I did and it made the swap heaps easier. My kit had gearbox plate, engine mounts and sandwich plate for the starter motor as well as all associated nuts and bolts.

Good luck
